The Structure of Carbonic Anhydrase is 40!

16-18 of September 2011, Tällberg, Sweden

Proteinstructures.com is hosting the web pages for the carbonic anhydrase meeting.

Carbonic anhydrase (CA) is a Zn-containing enzyme that catalyses the reaction of interconversion of carbon dioxide and water to bicarbonate and protons. 40 years after the determination of the first crystallographic structure of CA, this meeting is intended to summarise the research during this period and provide state-of-the art overview of the field.

The meeting will take place at the charming hotel
Åkerblads in Tällberg, located approximately 300 km to the north from Stockholm. Tällberg can be easily reached by train directly from Stockholm airport Arlanda. The cost for the meeting, which includes all meals, is around 3000 Skr (approximately 300 EUro). To attend the meeting, please contact Anders Liljas (Anders.Liljas(at)biochemistry.lu.se).
Immediately after this meeting the annual SFBM meeting (Swedish Society for for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) will take place (18-21 of September).
